Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS)

Dr. Jarvis requires sources to be cited using the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th ed. This differs enough from MLA and APA, so you should make use of guides such as this to help you create citations.

Websites to learn about CMOS:

Citation generators (Be aware that you might need to correct your citations!):

  • Zbib - Once you have created a citation, you need to change the style to Chicago Manual of Style 17th ed. (note)
  • Citation Machine -  Lots of ads, which may be too distracting. You can create a free account but you still have to watc ads. Even so, it has quite a lot of citation advice if you scroll down the page.
